Dr. Lebene Thelma Ledi is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant of Maiden Environmental Services, a leading environmental consultancy firm in Ghana. With over two decades of experience in environmental practice, she has built a distinguished career grounded in technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep commitment to sustainable development.

She holds her first degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and further advanced her academic journey in the United Kingdom, earning her second degree from Coventry University, where she gained international exposure and broadened her expertise in environmental management and sustainability.

Driven by a passion for holistic impact, Dr. Ledi later pursued and obtained a degree in medicine, qualifying as a medical doctor. This unique combination of environmental and medical training positions her to approach sustainability from both ecological and human health perspectives, an intersection that is increasingly critical in today’s world.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ledi has led numerous environmental and social impact assessments, audits, and sustainability initiatives across diverse sectors.

Under her leadership, Maiden Environmental Services has grown into a trusted partner for businesses, internationsl  institutions, and government agencies, known for delivering practical, compliant, and forward-thinking environmental solutions.Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Ledi is a dedicated mentor and advocate for environmental education and capacity building.
