Maiden Environmental Services was proud to participate in the Africa E-Health and Healthcare Management Platform (AEHPMP) Summit, held at the prestigious Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra. The summit brought together key stakeholders across Africa’s healthcare and innovation ecosystem to explore the future of healthcare delivery and the role of technology in transforming systems across the continent.
The event centered on advancing healthcare systems through innovation, collaboration, and sustainable solutions—highlighting the growing intersection between healthcare, technology, and environmental responsibility.
As Maiden Environmental Services, we participated as exhibitors, showcasing our work in e-waste management and our contribution to responsible electronic waste handling in Ghana. Our exhibition highlighted our role in collecting, safely storing, and facilitating the export of end-of-life mobile phones for proper recycling—an effort that directly supports environmental health and reduces the risks associated with improper disposal of electronic waste.
Beyond exhibiting, we were honored to be part of the panel discussions as representatives of Ghana. This provided an opportunity to share insights on the critical link between e-waste management and public health, emphasizing how poor handling of electronic waste can have far-reaching impacts on communities and healthcare systems.
Our participation at AEHPMP reinforced an important message: sustainable healthcare systems cannot exist without addressing environmental challenges such as e-waste. As digital health solutions continue to expand across Africa, so too must our commitment to managing the waste they generate.
Through platforms like AEHPMP, we are not only showcasing our work but also contributing to larger conversations that shape policy, innovation, and sustainable development across the continent.
